Natalija Cantrak

The young Serbian soprano Natalija Cantrak graduated from the University in Leipzig where she was awarded with „Ad Infinitum Fondation Lübeck“ scholarship and where she gathered her first experiences on stage and concerts. 

 

18/19 she was accepted in the young singers project at the Nationaltheater Mannheim. Here she made her debut as Contessa Ceprano in Rigoletto. She sang the roles of Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Helmwige in Der Ring an einem Abend, Taumännchen in Hänsel und Gretel, Ninetta in The love for 3 oranges, Clotilde in Norma, voce del cielo in Don Carlo and Ines in Il Trovatore. In her second year of the project she interpreted the roles of  1. niece in Peter Grimes, Frasquita in Carmen, Musetta in La Bohème and 1. Lady in Die Zauberflöte. She worked as a guest at Staatsoper Stuttgart as Ninetta in The love for 3 orangs.

 

She joined the ensemble of Volkstheater Rostock in 21, where she made her debut as Contessa Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro as well as Tatjana in Eugen Onegin. In 22/23 she made her debutes as Mimi in La Bohème, Laya in Die Blume von Hawaii, Alcina in Alcina and Frau Fluth in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor. In 23 she sang Micaëla in Carmen.
